How should I get there?

By car: It is very easy to drive here! It typically takes about 3.5 hours to drive from New York City to Narragansett, but be aware of summer traffic!

By train: You can take the Amtrak to Kingston, RI station, which is 20 minutes from Narragansett and 30 minutes to Newport. Ubers and Lyfts will be available at the station. We recommend buying your tickets as soon as possible.

By plane: You can fly into TF Green Airport in Providence, which is 30 minutes from the Dunes Club.

Will Ubers and Lyfts be available?

Ubers and Lyfts are generally available. Please note that wait times can be long depending on time of day and location.

What should I wear?

We're so excited to celebrate with you in style! The dress code is Black Tie, which means tuxedos and formal long dresses. Feel free to have fun with it! The Dunes Club sits on a lawn right on the ocean, so we recommend block heels or dress shoes that can handle a bit of lawn or sand.

Can I bring a guest?

We wish we could celebrate with everyone we love, but due to space and planning, invitations are addressed to the specific guests invited. If your invitation includes a guest by name, we'd be delighted for them to join!

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration (with the exception of a few family members' children). We hope this gives you a chance to relax, enjoy a night out, and dance the night away! Thank you for understanding — we can't wait to celebrate with you.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes! Everything will take place at The Dunes Club in Narragansett, RI. Once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the evening — no additional travel required between events.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive right at 5pm. The ceremony will begin shortly after!

What's the weather like in Rhode Island in late August?

Late August in Narragansett is usually warm and breezy, with temperatures in the 70s. The celebration will take place both outdoors and inside the club, so we recommend dressing comfortably for a summer evening by the ocean (bring a wrap or jacket if you tend to get chilly!).

Is there a welcome event on Friday August 28th?

Yes! We will be hosting all of our guests at The Carriage House at the Elms on Friday night from 8:00-10:00pm. Drinks and light bites will be provided. Parking will be available at The Elms. Given the proximity to downtown Newport we will not be providing transportation. We recommend you uber or carpool!

Where should I stay?

Narragansett and nearby towns like Newport and South Kingstown have wonderful hotels, inns, and rentals. We'll include a few of our favorites on the Travel & Accommodations page of our website. We recommend booking early! Late August is a beautiful (and busy!) time on the Rhode Island coast.

Will transportation be provided to the Dunes Club?

We will be providing transportation from the Marriott Hotel in downtown Newport and the Fairfield Suites in South Kingston. Transportation will also be provided back from the Dunes Club and from Mews Tavern for guests attending the afterparty.

Shuttles will depart the Newport Marriott at 4:15PM and the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 4:50PM.

Parking is also available at The Dunes Club for guests who prefer to drive.

What should I do while I'm in the area?

We're so thrilled you're making a weekend of it! Newport and Narragansett have so much to explore — from stunning beaches and coastal walks to delicious dining and the iconic Newport Mansions. Think sunbathing on one of the many beautiful beaches, sailing tours, The Cliff Walk, charming shops on Thames Street, clamcake crawls, and leisurely seafood lunches by the water.
